Can I add the privacy option to my registered domain name?

Answer by Stuart Pierce, Knowledge Base Support

If you have a Names4ever.com account associated with your registered domain name (consisting of numbers only), you can add the Privacy option using the web-based Names4ever.com Control Panel. Here is how:

  1. Start by logging into the Names4Ever Control Panel at http://cp.names4ever.com. Use your Registration Number and Customer Password.
  2. Select the Domain Management icon.
  3. Check the boxes next to the domain names you’d like to add the Privacy option to.
  4. Click the Manage Privacy button.
  5. Review your selection and click Proceed.
  6. On the next page, select your payment method using the appropriate radio buttons.
  7. Click Set Privacy to add this option to the selected domain(s).

Important: If you have an Aplus.Net accounts (Starting with AP) associated with your domain name registrations, you can not use the Names4ever.Com Control Panel to add the Privacy option. Please contact one of our Customer Service Representatives to assist you on this. Customer Support can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-888-301-2516 (toll free) or 1-858-410-6900 (for International callers).
