Question categories:  Mailing List

Can I add a message to each email to my mailing list with instructions for unsubscribing?

When sending out email on a mass mailing list, it is always good practice to add a method for mail recipients to unsubscribe from the mail list. You can do that by adding that message to the body of the email manually or include that text in the body of your email signature.

Here’s a sample message that you would include if your mailing list address is mylist@foo.org would be:

“If you no longer wish to receive emails from our mailing list, please send an email to: mylist-request@foo.org with the subject: unsubscribe.”
