Winning Control Panel Improved Upon To Provide Superior Service
San Diego, California –September 4, 2003- Aplus.Net, a leading provider
of Internet services, announced today that they have deployed a new, improved
version of their award-winning control panel for web hosting.
The control panel has a user-friendly graphical interface and provides
powerful multi-plan administration. Control panel users can conveniently
manage all of their hosting services, web sites, FTP accounts, domains
and emails from one location with a single log-in.
The control panel is available now for most Aplus.Net customers. Excluded
are some old plans and Windows based hosting. Aplus.Net plans to make the
control panel available to those two groups by the end of September, 2003.
New and existing customers can access the control panel and the accompanying
tutorial at http://cp.aplus.net.
Aplus.Net resellers and resold accounts also have immediate access to the
control panel. Resellers are provided with branded control panel access
and the ability to create sub-accounts for each of their customers. All
default images in the control panel are fully customizable to make the
control panel look like it's the resellers.
One of the most important new features of the control panel is support
for multiple logins with different permissions. This allows customers to
have multiple developers, designers and maintenance staff working separately
and independently of each other on different parts of a web site.
There are also several new “support” features, such as a searchable knowledge
base, “on the fly” help, live chat and an online forum that enable Aplus.Net
to provide exceptional customer service. Additionally, the latest control
panel is easier to navigate and has a better intuitive interface.

Aplus.Net’s control panel is the most comprehensive in the industry offering

• Account Management – edit plan details, view billing statements, view
invoices, change account settings and payment information
• Website Setup – file and archive manipulation, database set-up, domain
and sub domain management, security settings and merchant account
• Website Design – “do it yourself” web design, manage website content,
edit images and include add-ons, such as counters, forums, live chat, surveys,
guestbook and online email tools (i.e. form mail and mailing list manager)
• Website Marketing - prepare web sites for optimized submission to search

• E-mail Management - manage emails, change passwords, use web based email

renew domains and register new ones
• Reseller Accounts – set up reseller accounts and access helpful information

The control panel will be mated with Rodopi (www.rodopi.com) billing and
provisioning software to provide a complete turn key hosted solution for

and it will be launched in September, 2003.
